We are proud to announce our first honey process Colombian coffee is this year’s Dr Strangelove Espresso!
The farm, which lies in the town of El Tablon, produces what it calls a ‘floral’ honey process that delivers an exceptional and unique cup profile. The fermentation of the cherry mucilage imparts a punchy fruit flavour, typical of this process, but also a clean and refined finish that lends it perfectly to espresso brewing, and pairing with milks.
With flavours of dark chocolate, maple syrup sweetness and the heady cherry-liqueur fruitiness from the floral- honey process, 2020’s Dr Strangelove could well be our best yet.
